Stylish yet grounded in the city
I have read Vogue cover to cover since age 12. I appreciate fashion as an aesthetic art form yet am practical and somewhat frugal in my own fashion adventures.
I love thrift shops, I love catalogs, I love department store windows (especially during the winter holiday), and I especially love people watching in NYC. My boyfriend and I moved to NYC in December, 2008. This blog is about the struggle of being fashionably relevant yet practical.
What I mean by this is staying on a clothes budget, not having my clothes and shoes take up three-quarters of our small apartment, and not spend too much time on fashion yet not falling into a fashion rut and aspiring to staying at the helm of the NYC fashion curve.
I promise to post at least once a week on saturday with the hope that it will more like two to three times a week. I want this to be fun and for each post to be fun to read and meaningful (to someone I hope) and not be a daily chore.
